Professional Development Services offered to the New Teachers working with SMART CookiEZ Education can expect to accomplish the following learning objectives:
- New teachers will build a toolkit of skills and resources that will enable them to “survive” independently in their new environment.
- New teachers will develop an understanding of high-quality lesson planning and curriculum development by creating their own curriculum and pacing calendar even in situations where they have scripted lesson plans.
- New teachers will learn how to turn theory into practical methods of pedagogy ensuring to address topics such as behavior, differentiation, engaging students in learning, data-driven instruction, and creating various/multiple entry points in their lessons to the content.
- New teachers will be able to self-reflect on their progress throughout the year. They will create SMART goals and develop action plans based on their capabilities.
- New teachers will see their contribution to their school community outside of the classroom.
